For the production of a student short film (drama) directed by students from Rouen Ynov Campus, we are looking for an actress for a lead role.
Role description:
A young nun (18–25 years old)
Central character, deeply human, torn between faith, regret and compassion
The role requires a strong on‑screen presence and the ability to carry long, intense dialogue scenes
Profile sought: Comfortable with long dialogue scenes and able to express strong emotions.

Shooting: 26–29 May near Rouen
Synopsis: A man stands in an empty room with a mysterious door as the only notable feature. He looks stressed. He seems to want to go through the door but cannot find the strength. He eventually gives up and sits on one of the chairs to wait. Then a girl appears in the room and sits down on another chair; they begin to discuss their situation and their lives.
From their conversation we learn they are dead and are speaking about their past lives. The room transforms into important places from their separate lives. Eventually we learn how the man died: after a car accident that caused the woman’s death, the man sank into regret and unintentionally overdosed on medication. The woman, realising she was killed because of him, becomes enraged and reproaches him for not taking responsibility and for not facing his problems.
Emotionally overwhelmed, she begins to cry. The guilty man comes to sit with her; after some apologies she forgives him, understanding his situation. Once their doubts and regrets are set aside, they go through the door together.
