Jeff, an experienced police officer whose job has damaged his family life, survives an operation that goes wrong at a zoo. When he wakes up, he discovers he can now understand animals. This secret gift transforms his investigations and forces him to reinvent himself, both as a cop and as a father. For the second episode, several everyday settings need to come to life around his new investigations.
